Advice about buying some land from a farm

Hi there,
We've recently bought and are renovating a 18th century cottage in Norfolk, which backs on to a field. We'd like to buy a small part of the field - only 1/3 acre or so - and turn it into veg plot, few fruit trees etc.

Just wanted some advice about how practical that is. Would the land need to be regraded in some way? (We're not planning on secretly building on the land in the future by the way!) Any guides on price?

I think it's doable, but there isn;t much by way of details to comment properly.

Best advice is to speak with a local property solicitor to ensure that a) you're all clear if you want to buy and b) put through the title deeds in the event of a purchase.

I can't see there would be an issue if that's your only intention for the land. But Brian's quite right, you should certainly have a word with your local property solicitor.
