Default Air Source Heating near Bristol/Bath

Hi there

Does anyone have an air sourced heating system installed in their home. If so would you be prepared to have a visitor to see it?

I am seriously thinking about replacing our 25 year old boiler with an air or ground sourced heating system. My concern with the Air Sourced version is the noise of the fan as i live in a protected area. I wouldn't want to inflict any of the noise it may make on any of my neighbours or myself.

Also you can apparently have the fan up to 25 meters form the hosue but I guess this wouldn't be recommended. Any help or possible site visits would be really helpful.

Thanks
