Algarve still a safe place to buy!
Due to the minimal amount of building that has been done in the Algarve it is still an excellent place to buy. There are several five star plus developments being built including the six star Conrad resort promoted by Jose Mourinio. As well as this the new Algarve track is opening in November and it has already gained Formula One approval. Although borrowing is still difficult in the UK many Portuguese banks are offering good rates and it is easier than people think to get good rates here. That together with the great climate, relaxed lifestyle, no land grab or overbuilding problems and easy access to the UK make it an excellent investment area.
