Not necessarily true, of course. Property values in some areas of the North have either held steady or even shown a slight increase. Just look at the main house price indices.

Of course, if your business is to let flats in London, you might be excused for having a wholly London-centric view of the world....

Experts say that price of prime central London properties has increased sharply during 2011 and this trend will continue at least till 2016!
