What is the deal with part P?
Can I add few sockets or not, I have added sockets in the past but have been told part p building regs mean you cannot do this now? |

Basically, you are no longer allowed to carry out any electrical work yourself. You need to be part p or use a part p electrician.
Some people have still carried out the work themselves and then tried to find a qualified sparks to test it and sign it off. Most electricians will not sign off other peoples work, so your best to just use a qualified electrician in the first instance. |
