Default Capital Gains Tax
Hi,

The property I own has not been my main residence since 2008. I want to sell but wanted to check if capital gains tax kicks in soon and I need to sell quick?

From the recent news case with Danny Alexander, it was widely reported that you have a 36 month window after you cease to live in the property to remain free of CGT.
