I live in a converted office (sad I know) above a printers and have done for some years.
I have a Certificate of Lawfullness - genuine- I own the freehold and the factory below has a long leasehold granted from the freeholder (me). I now want to move on and want to convert the office to 4 self contained apartments, But will i need planning for that conversion ? If i just make it into a 4 bedroomed flat and rent it out to four people (its 4000sq ft so no probs on space). will my Certificate be ok ? If I make it into 5 bedrooms or more do i need planning for a an HMO ? Thanks |
