Default changing the lease for exclusive use of garden
We're about to buy a ground floor flat that we were told has the garden. However I have now found out that in the lease the garden is shared between both flats. The freeholder is the property developer. I have been told by the estate agent that it could easily be changed so that we have exclusive use of the garden. is that true? and how would we go about doing that? thank you in advance.
