What are you actually after, just information, possible rental properties?
North are where the cheapest houses are at in general, alot of its down to the specific area though - you'll find areas with Universities local are cheap, because of the student lets. |

Depends on what you are looking for and a rough idea of area, the UK covers a lot of different counties etc.
Certain areas in the northwest are cheap...Depends on type of house/accomodation, size etc and whether you wish to live in a council area or private. example being ; a three bed terrace on my town (chorley) range from 75,000 - 120,000 approx......but just down the road in wigan/leigh area the same sort of house could be 55,000 - 75,000. You would have to be more specific. And look at reasons why an area is cheaper too! |

There are sites that give you the actual sales figures - taken from land registry so very accurate - for properties in their actual post code areas if that would be of any help?

I think if I remember rightly you can check local average house prices on find a property.
