Default Checking Finances

I am thinking of selling my house privately.

How do I check a buyer's financial situation if they claim that they are self financing?

Hey There,

If someone is self financing I assume you refer to getting a mortgage, If this is the case...You can ask for contact details of thier financial advisor or mortgage in princible doc...and if they are cash buyers thier bank statement.

Hope this helps

Becky
