We ordered and paid a deposit of £1,000 in early March for a conservatory. On ordering the director of the company said it would be May before installation could take place. This we accepted. When the order was taken he said he would come and bring his surveyor but this did not happen only a workman came to measure up the end of April.
We then waited until nearly the end of April to hear from them again. We had an old conservatory to be dismantled so he suggested that we list this on Ebay and say to be dismantled 3 days from the end of the listing because a new erection would take place early May.We have now been informed completion will be first week in June. Window and door boarded up pitch black in the kitchin so lights on all the time. He has given us misleading information , he will not answer questions but just says his wife did not understand how Ebay worked - I don't think so! Option do we ask for the price to be reduced /or refund the deposit . How do I stand? |
