Default Construction Costs

Posted originally on property development, but maybe here is more appropriate.
Hi,

I will soon have planning permission for a block of 5 terrace's for the use as student accommodation.

Each terrace is 3 storeys, ground floor entrance, kitchen + open plan lounge. 1st floor 3 en-suite beds, 2nd floor also 3 en-suite beds.

Communal parking for 8 cars & 5 cycles.

Can somebody please state the average construction cost for this type of building please?

How much it costs to build will depend on lots of factors.
Welsh slates cost more than concrete tiles for example.

For a project like this you will need a bill of quantities and a proper price estimate/quotations before going to a bank for finance.

As a guide £100 per square foot is the normal guide for new builds.
