I've been looking for a house over the last couple of month and I'm really getting frustrated with these estate agents for example
I've recently seen a property that came up on the market in an area that I like, and so rang the agent straight away to arrange a viewing, but then the agent told me that they were not doing any viewing on the property as all viewing had already happened ..this has now happened to me several time. The frustrating thing is I know that the property appeared on their website on the same day is there anything I can do .....??? ![]() I've a good deposit and mortgage should not be too much of a problem for me. |

Here are some suggestions
1. Ask to speak to the manager of the estate agency office 2. If the agency is part of a chain, phone their head office and speak to a director 3. Ask your lawyer to carry out a land registry search to see who the owner is. If it's a mortgagee in possession your lawyer can write to the lender directly. If the property is a repossession the likelihood is that the property must be continually marketed until it has exchanged contracts. |
