Default Force a sale?

Hi my ex-boyfriend has promised me, for many months, that he will partially buy me out of our jointly owned and mortgaged house, as we split up over 2 years ago and I have been living overseas ever since. He has now changed his mind and Im stuck financially. Can I force him to sell or is there some way that I could get an investor to buy out my share of the house?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, if you want to spend several thousand pounds going to court.

Try to talk with your ex-boyfriend and settle the problem. Try to tell him that you need to sell the property in order to get your share.
