To us the choice is simple ...
The hob section should only be gas as it is far more controlable for cooking than electric, which ccan lead to burnt food, or stick saucepans.
We use a gas oven once again for the same reason as we bake a lot.
However we would not dismiss electricfor the oven section, but it would be second choice.

In my opinion, electric cooker all day as its more economical than gas, especially with the fuel prices of today!

Gas, leaks and can blow up!
Carbon Monoxide fumes?
Electric, cleaner just as cheap, cooks more evenly.

Electric double Oven and Gas Hob is the way to go.
A big brand and both White!

Gas Cooker is a better option than electric cooker. As electric cooker uses some units of energy and electricity costs will be more than gas per unit.

I would pick electric cooker as it is probably more safety. Howver i have also heard that gas is much better for cooking i mean like in oven. Cookies, pies, etc

In gas, you can adjust the heat but you should left the tank open.
However, in electric heat is slow but safer than gas.

I know that electric is a lot faster, but I think that gas just happens to taste better. I prefer the taste on gas and I feel that I have been able to manage my food a lot better with gas than with electric. I have found that having experience with both, the gas provides a better heat.

I have used electric for decades now, and I can honestly say that I miss gas a bit. Yes electric is far faster and easier to use but it does not provide the same quality that gas can. I really do miss the way that gas is able to sear meat more evenly for example.

I think both might be useful for you, let me share something, my one brother recently move their new house so there was not any gas that's why he used electric it's not that much cost.

I used to have a electric cooker before, and yes it is far faster and easy to use compare to gas cooker but, let's face the fact that electric cooker cannot provide the same quality as the gas cooker can.
