Post Halifax: House prices fall 2.3% in February
The Halifax has today reported that house prices fell by 2.3% in February, taking the average UK home to £160,327 - nearly £35,000 less compared with February last year and takes prices back to levels seen in August 2004.The latest monthly fall takes the annual rate of decline to 17.8%, according to the lender.
