There are a number of websites specifically for exchanges - try internationalpropertyexchange, permanentpropertyexchange, u-exchange and go-swap.

Personally the best thing for you to do is to market your property with every possible estate agent in your local area, and further afield if you are able to. Explain that you are interested in the possibility of a home exchange and if there are any clients on their books within the area you wish to move back to they might be able to help you.
It is a very hard way to move back to the UK doing an exchange, most people looking to move to Spain sell before they buy here so you are looking at a very tiny 0.000001 % - as you have pin pointed exactly where you wish to move back to! But in my personal experience, there are more people moving back from Spain to the UK than visa versa! Quite a few from the Midlands as well. Good luck.
