Default Land price help needed please.

Hi,

I Hope this is in the right topic?

We were looking at moving house but at the moment it seems to be out of the question so we are looking at the possibility of buying part of the neighbouring garden, although nothing had been discussed with the neighbour yet, their garden is over grown and unused in the area that backs on to ours.

BUT where do we find out land prices! I have googled it many times and still cannot find the answer.

The land we want to buy could not be built on (not big enough) or have any other access apart from by foot.

I do not want to approach the neighbour until I have a price as it might turn out that we cannot afford that either!

Any help would be appreciated.
