South italy is still pretty much a bargain, there are other places in Italy also cheap, but southern italy you can still pick up a 2 bedroom apartment for 30.000 euros.
Banks are willing to lend up to 100% of the property costs, so the banks have faith in the area. The only bad thing is the closing costs can be around 15%. But on 30.000 euros, that is 4,500 euros. Still half the price of Spain costas with a similar climate. |
