Management pack issue
Hi everyone,
I was in the process of buying my "dream property" (flat). However, I have recently been informed that the management company does not want to provide the management pack already paid by the vendor. The vendor is now considering to go to the tribunal. The problem is my mortgage offer is available until October and my solicitor informed me that this procedure could take 3 to 6 months even longer to get this pack by this mean. Is there any other way to get this pack or to exchange contracts without this pack? Many thanks in advance for your answers.

If the managing agents don't want to provide the pack at all (as opposed to the buyer not wanting to pay for one) then they are clearly an unreasonable lot of whatsits and you may have trouble with them later. This would put me off buying the flat.

Perhaps the management charges are so high the vendor is just making an excuse so you dont find out.
