Hi
I am considering getting on the property ladder. I am 30, first time buyer. I would like to ask for advice, this time on Mortgage insurance. I have been quoted these figures for these products: £35 - life & critical illness cover (minimum cover is £10 per mth) £23 – accident/sickness/ redundancy cover-(minimum cover is £12.60 per mth) My question is - do i need full coverage on both? all advice appreciated. Thanks |

Hi there,
It is useful to have all of the cover if it is affordable and both plans cover different things. With referenc to the ASU policy just check the status of the unemployment cover. many providers of these types of policies have either dropped this element of the policy or made it so restrictive that it can be difficult to successfully make a claim.
