Default New development allocation

There are websites now where we can check the price a property has previously been marketed at, and sold for but is there a site where I can find out the percentage of homes that are bought, rented and social housing on a particular development that is a few years old?

Is that information available to the public?

Now THAT, would be fantastic! I don't believe there is unfortunately...you could argue it infringes privacy a little. It would certainly be helpful...especially if you're looking to buy an ex local authority home.

This is one of the MAIN PROBLEMS with new homes.
You may not know how many homes are social housing at the outset and even if there are few, the house next door could easilly become a rental.
Those buying after a year or so will be able to see the social housing as they tend to be the homes that are not looked after!
In addition, if there are lots of homes for sale on a newish development, you should ask yourself why so many are moving so soon?
