Default New Homes:- Installation certificates
A client of mine has recently completed a purchase of a brand new property. Obviously we are required prior to letting to have gas and electrical safety certificates in place. I belived that the house builder would provide a copy of the gas and electrical installation certificates which would suffice for the first year but they say this is not the case.

Does anyone know of the regulations surrounding these?
