Default New member needs selling advice

Hello all

new to this forum and would like advice.

Relocated from north to the south and in rented now.

House for sale was valued at £245k. Then reduced by £10k. Then £20k equalling £215000. Had a chain free buyer interested but only offering- after haggling - £190000.

Given the north-south divide in prices, should we sell or wait for a better offer?

We are looking at houses aroung £350000 in the new area, so there will be a big hike in mortgage.

Help!

I think it really depends on your sense of urgency - different regions in the North are impacted in different ways, but it does remain a buyer's market, and someone making a chain-free offer is always going to demand a much bigger reduction in the existing circumstances.

If it's of any help, it doesn't mean to say you can't do the same when you're buying.
