In the year to November House prices fell 0.7% – the first time they have fallen on a year-on-year basis since November 2009, according to figures released today by the Halifax.

Probably not, Im betting for an increase in the real estate prices very soon.
The crisis is almost over, but keep in mind: the prices will never reach the 2007 level very soon.

I stand by the opinion that the market moves for the right price regardless of the national averages. You find a seller that needs to sell you can still get good value for money and protect your investments long time.

Rental market seems amazing strong, just rented a house up here, was on rightmove for 6 days with 19 viewing requests. Amazing demand.

The market remains challenging but if developers are realistic about prices they will be able to sell properties and get people moving in 2011. We've launched Hive to the Birmingham market this month with realistic starting prices of £90,000.

Isn't the key question, when the next surge in prices will take place as its a lot easier to make money in a rising market and booming property sales?

Wonder if the rental surge is because of BBC coming to manchester - an estate agent mentioned that few BBC people were buying, most preferred to rent a flat during the week.
