Default Please reccommend a solicitor

Hi All,

I am looking at purchasing a flat/apartment that is also live/work property. I am looking for a good solicitor that is value for money.

Thank you.

I work for Dale and Co. Solicitors in Lincoln - if you're in the area (or even if you're not!) I suggest contacting us for a quote, call 01522 513399 (We're also offering a really good deal on HIP's if you're selling). Our Conveyanicng Solicitor, Nicola Welbourn, is a star!

I hope we can help!

If you give an indication of your planned location, you may well get a more specific recommendation than otherwise - local knowledge can count for a lot

Difficult to recommend one without knowing where you are based. But take a look here Find a solicitor - recommended local solicitors near you for solicitors in your area. Hope this helps.

What a mixed bag, Kims88! Looking at the solicitors listed as "local to my area", many are not, in fact, all that local, and my experience of them would not indicate that they are all "the finest in their area" by any means!

Normally, the best method is personal recommendation, of course

If you don't know anyone who can recommend companies you could try one of the locally based company listings/review type sites such as 'thebestof' or 'touchlocal'. Usually you will find some reviews of companies on those sites, obviously take them with a pinch of salt as companies may create fake reviews.

Good advice but given that you are intending to purchase a live/work unit - which has it's own area of complications - check that the conveyancer has experience in dealing with such properties
