Default Removing a Supporting Wall

Hello,

I've literally just bought my first project property. The house has had a small extension built onto the back of the house and an archway has been created from the original back supporting wall of the house through to the extension from the kitchen. This gives the kitchen a scarily dated look and not a very practical lay out.

The kitcehn could really do with having around a 2m section of the supporting wall removed to open up the kitchen into a nice large kitchen diner.

I know this is a bit like how long is a piece of string, but can anyone give me a ball park figure for the cost of removing the supporting wall and fitting a supporting beam in it's place, including making it good?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm also having to install double glazing and central heating, so any estimated costs for that would be great.

Double Glazing = 2 uPVC doors + 10 windows.

Central heating would be installation of boiler, piping and 5 radiators.

Look forward to hearing any and all replies.

FTMP
