Question Renting property - credit check - following credit score sufficient?

First time renting a property and am now worried about my credit score may affect the decision. I have a credit score of 811 which is termed "fair" according to the credit report. Max credit score is 900 which led me to believe that my credit score was quite excellent afterall.

But i am worried whether "fair" with a score of 811 be good enough to rent a property?

*now i wish i hadn't twiced missed my credit card payments in the last half yr

Depends on the agent/landlord you use and the demand for the property in the area you are looking in. It shouldn't but it does

I agree it will just depend on the the demand of the property really and they may look at it as relaibility from your part, but usually theres a month upfront and deposit and a leagally binding contract. so really i dont think you should have a problem.

If you have any further problems ask the landlord if he would consider a policy via tenantdeposit.com which will cover up to 2 months deposit at just £12 PCM
