Default Restrictive covenant

My house has a restrictive covenant which says I am not allowed to rent it. What would be the consequences if i did? Who would enforce them?

Who is the other party in the covenant, and are they still around?

I bought the house from the house builder who said that there was a covenant that says it should not be rented. I don't know who enforces this now. They never said at the time.

You may want to check with you mortgage provider too. They sometimes have stipulations on this kind of thing.
