Sure you'v realised, but some sites quote the selling offer price while some quote the sold price from the land registry, which can be 6 months behind.

The best one I have come across is MOUSEPRICE
You will need to register but you will then get updates of sold prices in your area and much other useful information.

If you are buying a home then visit this site first!

An interesting one is PropertySnake.com. It shows the latest properties listed on the internet in order of the largest reductions in offering price. Of course these homes should be given a wide berth if any of them look too good to be true, but the site's quite fun nonetheless.

rightmove everytime and the land registry... but some info on specific houses incurs a fee, worth it at 4 quid if its a house you are buying
