Default Tracker mortgage

As an employee of a high st bank , we have on offer a base rate term mortgage .5% with no fees apart from sols (as am buying a property) , with no erc , and can lend up to 90% ltv (which is what i'm doing)

Been told this is a great offer.
Was just wondering even with the possibilty of imminent interest rate rises this is still a good offer.

Oh please

I can't make my mind up whether you genuinely can't work out for yourself that you're getting an absolutely brilliant offer or you're rubbing everyone else's nose in it

I sincerely hope it's the former although, as you work in the bank, it makes me wonder what it is you do.

Frankly, it makes me sick that these damn banks, many of which were 'saved' by taxpayer's money, can be so generous with their staff whilst making everyone else suffer by insisting on ridiculously high deposits or high interest rates
