ERPS not HIPS to ease home-buying …
‘HIPs are history’ says Simply HIP’s www.simplyhip.co.uk managing director Ashley King, after declaring that HIPs were meant to deliver to consumers the ability to deliver a more informed decision, but never did. From 9 November, Simply HIP are upgrading their HIP orders to something more fit for purpose – an Exchange Ready Pack (ERP), which has been specifically designed to help a buyer’s conveyancer proceed more quickly with the transaction once an offer has been accepted by including some, if not all, of the legal information required to prepare a ‘solicitor’s contract pack’ at the start of the process. Just an update as HIPs are rumoured to finish soon... |

Why not include all the legal information needed? Otherwise, the pack cannot be "exchange ready"!
