Default Welfare Benefits and Tenants in Common
I invite reference to the comments by JustinN regarding welfare benefits in the thread "Buying 50% of Mum's House."

Can anyone tell me if my father would lose entitlement to pensioners' Minimum Income Guarantee payments (Income Support) if a share of his flat were transfered to me (Tenants in Common)? My belief has always been that such action would amount to deprivation of capital.
