Default Where do I find out about historic land prices?

I'm interested in buying some land (for horses not house development), but I don't know whether the price that is being asked is a good price or not, or what land prices have done recently. I'd like to do a little research so I have a better idea of what to expect, but I can't find out where to get the prices.

If it was a house I would look at zoopla, but they don't seem to have field values..... Can anyone help me?

Agricultural land with no planning goes for around £3000 - £9000 an acre.
Any more than this and you are paying too much.

You may be better off renting a field from a farmer for keeping horses.
