They got rid of the HIPS. Do you think they will eventually get rid of the EPC. I dont know anyone who has done anything to make their property more energy efficient as a direct result of an EPC survey. e.g. the boiler is old, but boilers are becoming more efficient as time goes on, so why not just wait for the next time a new boiler is needed.
Insulation. if this is to be done, its not for energy efficiency, more rather to cure condensation. the first time an EPC engineer came round, for £120.00 i was expecting him to be here the full afternoon, when he was only in what seemed like five minutes. Just wondered what people may have thought. |
