Renewed interest in the Spanish property market

According to Property Secrets, a growing number of Britons are looking for a new life abroad as the negative speculation in the Spanish property market has ended. This is good news for at least 4 million Britons who have property in Spain and were concerned that April’s correction in the market might cause a decline in house prices. However, this correction may be too soon and we could possibly see more months of corrections.

According to Daniel R Talavera, Property Secret’s editorial manager, he acknowledged that British investors have become cautious of purchasing property in Spain as they target new markets which offer better profits in the short and medium term. He also said that the Spanish property market is commencing a new phase with stable high prices that will increase steadily.

Achieving a good return immediately isn’t really a concern for the increasing numbers of Britons retiring in Spain. Gaining returns in the longer term is more important.
