McLean Forth has launched a new website.
The Edinburgh and Fife based letting agency says it is providing tenants and landlords with a unique online resource that includes a home furnishings store usable by any visitor to the site.
The facility is a joint venture with amazon.co.uk and covers a range of needs for those setting up home, from basic cutlery to designer linens.
McLean’s managing director, Mark Bargeton, comments: “We looked at the daily requirements from tenants and landlords and tried to provide as many online solutions as possible.”
He continues: “Having an online store that allows landlords to furnish properties and tenants to purchase items quickly, securely and at competitive prices is a great addition.”
In other news of Scotland’s private rental market, Cullen Property recently reported that occupancy levels in Edinburgh hit an all-time high last year.
A flagging property sales market and reduction in mortgage approvals meant that 97% of the firm’s 300 properties were fully occupied going into the New Year.
In addition, a rise in the number of people who appreciate the flexibility of renting helped push rents up an average 2.7% in the Scottish capital.
