A new UK residential sales and lettings search facility is being launched on 17th September.
PropertyIndex.com has been operating as an overseas property portal since 2007 and claims to give access to 150,000 properties for sale and rent across 4,000 destinations worldwide.
The company is now expanding its site to cover UK properties in 31,000 locations and also promises to give its users information about each locality.
The site will feature a homepage for each UK town and city, containing key information about the area including: details on property prices; local schools and their performance results; council tax charges; policing and crime statistics; transport links and demographic profiles.
In addition, each location will have a directory of services relating to the rental or house-buying process, such as Home Information Pack providers, solicitors and removal companies.
The firm expects an initial 2,000 UK estate agents to be listing properties on the site and there is a pay by results option, which removes the need for a monthly subscription.
Finally, house hunters can avail themselves of a Property Finder Service, whereby the company will identify any properties that match a customer’s criteria and forward an enquiry to the estate agent concerned.
