Redrow Homes (Lancashire) recently hosted a weekend for first-time buyers. The objective was to give them a head start towards owning their own home.

Prospective buyers who attended the event at Buckshaw Village had a chance to see how the housebuilder offers mortgage support via its ‘re:assure’ package, in addition to viewing apartments offered for £119,995 as a possible stepping stone for getting on to the property ladder.

A spokesperson for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) stated that the new package is intended to make obtaining a property as smooth as possible, from ‘the moment of enquiry right through to after you’ve moved in‘.

As part of the re:assure deal, Redrow offers pay all legal fees, arrangement fees and 5% deposits.

The properties, which include the one-bedroom Aire, priced from £119,995 and the two-bedroom Eden, priced from, £159,995 come with a single garage and are ideal for first time buyers.

Buckshaw Village is located in the centre of Lancashire, between the M6 and M61. As well as new properties, there is an 80-acre business park called Matrix Park, with further commercial areas planned.

Plans are underway for a district shopping centre, provision for a new railway station with park and ride facilities, a primary school, health centre and outdoor sports facilities.
