Channels 4 and 5 are seeking participants in two new television programmes that focus on ambitious home renovations.
Channel 4 is looking for people who have purchased an unusual building of unique historical or architectural significance in order to renovate it and turn it into their dream home.
The producers of the programme want to hear from people with an unusual property who is about to commence renovations. The buildings could be banks, chapels, icehouses, lighthouses, mills, post offices, public toilets or stables.
Filming is to commence shortly so, ideally, planning permission should have already been granted. The programme will follow the renovation process over a 6-month period. Those interested should email emmamartins@tigeraspect.co.uk.
Secondly, the producers of channel Five’s Build a New Life are looking for people who are not just planning to swap small city flats for idyllic country cottages but who want to create their own homes to their own designs by restoring or modernising buildings including barns, chapels and water towers.
Those interested should email build@shinelimited.com.
