Three new Belvoir lettings agency offices are being launched in Chichester, Newcastle Central and Glasgow North. Added to the resale of a Cheshire office, this brings the total number of Belvoir franchises to 146, each owner-managed by a local lettings specialist.

The three new franchise owners who have joined the group are all extremely high-calibre, professional people with good business sense and strong values.

Belvoir considers that the lettings market is buoyant and suggests that the UK’s major banks are particularly keen to extend credit to reputable franchises because they view franchising as a low-risk investment.

The founder of Belvoir has said that up to 70% borrowings are usually available for a Belvoir franchise. Arrangements can be tailored to meet individual requirements and a decision over financing can be received within 72 hours, with funds released in just six to ten weeks.

The company has recorded a 21% month-on-month increase on its 2007 figures. The current economic crisis and falling residential sales market means there are now more landlords and tenants in the UK than ever before.
