Cyprus is getting ready to adopt the Euro on 1st January 2008. This will bring significant benefits - travelling and purchasing goods in Euro countries is easier as citizens will not have to change currencies every time they cross a border.

HiFX, the currency specialists, have declared that the Cypriot property market will reap the benefits of adopting the Euro.

A spokesperson for HiFX commented that they anticipate the property market on Cyprus to continue to grow. British investors have said the Cyprus legal system is easy to understand and the government looks after its environment. Green areas are planted within developments and properties cannot exceed a particular height.

HiFX confirmed that the number of Britons enquiring about investing in Cyprus has doubled over the last year.

In addition, tour operators and travel agents have experienced an increase in the number of holiday bookings to Cyprus.
