True to its name, Enormo, has reported that it is now displaying 10 million of the world’s real estate listings.

The international property portal claims to be the first website to collect and display such a large pool of residential and commercial properties.

The site currently presents visitors with a choice of four million houses, four million apartments, 700,000 plots and a selection of niche properties such as castles, ranches and penthouses.

The main regions covered are Europe, the US, North and South Africa and India; in the UK, the firm currently has around 411,000 listings as follows: one-third rentals; to two-thirds sales.

According to Enormo, the site operates using bespoke technology that allows a typical search through all 10 million properties to be completed in less than five seconds.

Homeseekers have the facility to search, filter and then contact estate agents in their chosen language.

In February, Enormo created national “gateway” domains for 17 of its key markets and relaunched with new features for both homebuyers and agents.
