Lettingsearch goes for growth has announced that it is set for further expansion across the UK’s major towns and cities.

The firm, which claims to be the country’s largest lettings-only portal, has secured increased funding to back a substantial expansion of its agent and tenant base, over the next six months.

Established in 2002, Lettingsearch currently lists around 250,000 properties and averages over one million tenant searches a month.

Agents can list any number of properties for a flat fee per branch, with no set up costs or minimum period of advertising.

Furthermore, landlords approaching the site are redirected to appropriate lettings agents, providing an additional income stream for small and large agents alike.

Last week, the company declared the end of the recession for landlords as the Council of Mortgage Lenders revealed that banks had increased their buy-to-let lending in the third quarter of the year.

The firm said it is expecting a period of sustained investment in the UK rental sector, particularly as some professional landlords still have liquid cash with which to expand their portfolios.
