A survey has found that a quarter of parents are investing in property to let out within 6 months to assist their children financially.
Young people are finding it increasingly difficult to get onto the property ladder due to unaffordable housing. Parents are making up one fifth of the buy-to-let property investment sector.
The survey also established that over half of investors see property as a good way of making money rather than investing in stocks and shares.
